
Grammy award-winning artiste, Burna Boy has just put out a single “Want It All” featuring Chicago rapper Polo G who recently took a step further into the mainstream with the successful release of his last album “Hall Of Fame”.
While trapping it out with his sweet-toned vocals, Burna Boy recalls memories of his emotional past and how his tenacious will to succeed got him to a higher level presently. “I was sleeping on the ground, on the cold floor, whole-time I was grinding, I been tryin’ to achieve, Working night and day, you know my people no dey sleep, I got every Louis V collection from Virgil, Now my life a fashion show, no rehearsals”.
In Polo G’s verse, he also speaks on his grass-to-grace story alluding to the words of Burna. “Long nights I remember we don’t ask to let them cutters ride, Made it out the gutter, can’t go back to what I used to do.” In the last verse, the African Giant gives reference to his Grammy award and lets us know that his family and the people of PH City where he’s from provides the support and acquiescence he needs to keep bourgeoning. “You don’t come from where I’m from, you may not understand me, Obviously I never cared about your understanding, Got the biggest honor from Port Harcourt City.”
