He has been making waves in the Nigerian music industry for the past few years and is now set to release his highly anticipated third studio album named Timeless. Winning the BET Award for Best International Act Africa in 2018. Davido made history when he became the first Nigerian artist to receive a BET Award for Best International Act on the main stage . He also became the first African artist to win the award twice. This was a huge milestone for Davido, and for African music in general.

His single “Fall” becoming the longest-charting Nigerian single in Billboard history. Davido’s 2017 single “Fall” became the longest-charting Nigerian single in Billboard history. It stayed on the Billboard Top Triller US chart for an impressive 32 consecutive weeks. This was a huge achievement for Davido and an important milestone for Nigerian music.

Releasing the “A Good Time” album. Davido’s second studio album, “A Good Time”, was released in 2019 and was met with widespread critical acclaim. The album went on to become one of the best-selling albums of 2019 in Nigeria, and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry of Nigeria. It was also nominated for the Best World Music Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.

Hosting a sold-out concert at the O2 Arena in London. In 2019, Davido hosted a sold-out concert at the O2 Arena in London, making him the first African artist to ever do so. This was a historic moment for Davido and for African music as a whole.
